You certainly can begin driving lessons before passing your theory test. In fact your driving instructor will cover a vast range of topics while your learning to help you prepare.
How many hours a week do you recommend?
When learning to drive in a reasonable amount of time, you should expect to make time for a two-hour lesson once a week.
Some people will find multi tasking challenging, and we understand that. We provide 1 hour, 1.5, and two hour driving lesson.
How long does it take to pass?
The DVSA recommends 42 hours of training with your instructor and, if possible, making up the remaining 22 hours in private practice. Note learning to drive is a life skill where you shouldn’t cut corners.

How long have you been an ADI Approved Driving Instructor?
I’ve been an ADI for over 20 years. With hundreds of 1st time passes, meeting some wonderful people who I remain friends with to this day.
I passed on my 1st attempt when 17 years old with 5 driver faults. Now, 28 years of driving experience and Never being involved in an RTA to this date, that was my fault.
I’ve always believed you have one job as a driver and that is to get from A-B safely, by the continued effort of perfection from the day you start driving lessons.
